same start and end date in gantt chart

Currently, I have a functionality where a task can have the same start date and end date. However, when the start and end dates are the same, the task is not plotted on the Gantt chart.

Is there any way we can handle this case so that a task with the same start and end date is still displayed on the Gantt chart?

To make such tasks visible, you can use one of the following options:

Shift the end date to the next day
If your task starts on 2025-11-03, set the end date to 2025-11-04. This way, the task has a valid one-day duration and will be displayed as a bar.

  start: new Date("2025-11-03"),
  end: new Date("2025-11-04"), 
}]

Use the duration property
Alternatively, you can set the task’s duration property to 1. This tells the Gantt chart that the task lasts for one day, so it will be displayed correctly.
```
const tasks =[ {
  id: 2,
  text: "One-day task",
  start: new Date("2025-11-03"),
  duration: 1,
}]
```
Please note that end and duration should not be used together. Choose either the shifted end date or the duration property.
