That is indeed fairly confusing.
I fully agree with the right to charge money for your work, everyone has to make a living.
I also fully appreciate that a project may not be finished yet, as I am a developer myself.
However, I would definitely recommend to not label the project as "Open Source", "Free", and "GPL".
The recommended terminology for this would be something like "Freemium" and "Open core".
The term "Open source" basically implies that the whole project is open source, not just some parts of it.
It would definitely be good to have some documentation about what features are free vs pro, and what stage the project is in.
As far as I can see, none of this is documented right now, and the only place that this information can be found is right here in this forum post.
