BUG - lengthUnit 'hour'

Is there a known bug when trying to use hour lengthUnit? If I have multiple zoom levels that combine month, day, and hour, and I hardcode lengthUnit to 'hour,' it keeps resetting to 'day' and never changes back.

I'm really trying to make this component work but becoming increasingly frustrated

It would be great if the source to this component were released, it seems this is almost abandoned??

I tried to reproduce the problem with the lengthUnit property when using multiple zoom levels, but I was unable to replicate it.
