Set zoom scale dynamically

Is there a way to set the zoom scale when I perform some other action? Because, since there is no tooltip, I have opened a popup when a task is selected. But, the gantt chart jumps to beginning when this is done. So I want to retain the zoom scale when the task is selected, and set it back.

To set the zoom scale when performing some action first you need to set the zoom property to the Gantt:
<Gantt init={(api) => (apiRef.current = api)} tasks={data.tasks} zoom />

After that you need to use exec method to trigger the zoom-scale action.
