Open source (but private)

First of all, I'm very happy to see an easy to use alternative ui library with a Gantt graph component. So much so that I was thrilled to suggest implementing it into a commercial project i am currently working on.

I wanted to investigate further and that's when i noticed that, even if it is stated on your website that all your component are open source, the repo with the source code for the react component is not currently visible to the public. I also see that it is not a new topic here in the forum, but there is no news still.

It is true that, being under GPL license, i couldn't do much. But from what i read here you do not plan to accept contributions currently due to the license constraints.

Which brings me to the purpose of this post: should i expect that the library will change license in the future?

Hi, I can understand your concern. We're still planning to put React Gantt on github. Unfortunately it takes more time than we expected (still fixing some issues). We also plan to release the PRO edition with additional advanced features, which will be available under the paid license. But the version we offer now will remain free under GPL3 license.
